HP Inc. Introduces New ScanJet Scanners for SMBs and Enterprise Customers

PALO ALTO, Calif., October 5, 2016 — HP Inc. today announced four next generation business scanners that meet a wide range of scanning needs from general office to complex workflows. Significantly faster and more robust than previous models – with optional mobile capability – the new HP ScanJets fit in the modern office to enhance productivity with fast duplex scanning, high-capacity automatic document feeder (ADF), and superior paper handling.

For the first time, the new ScanJets also include an optional Wi-Fi accessory, simplifying the ability to connect and scan from anywhere in the office – ideal for customers in healthcare, banking, insurance and legal. They also take advantage of the HP JetAdvantage Capture app, which makes it easy to capture, store and route digital files from a mobile device. In addition, the new devices allow users to scan documents directly into applications with software included and full-featured TWAIN and ISIS®.

HP is also announcing a new entry-level scanner, which handles everything from simple color jobs to complex workflows at an extremely affordable cost.

New scanners introduced today include:

  • For enterprises, HP has introduced two new scanners -- the HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 5000 s4and HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 7000 s3, both of which are Wi-Fi direct enabled with a Wi-Fi accessory to enable mobile workflow and can scan folded A3 sheets without a carrier sheet. They also offer HP EveryPage technology that provides reliable scanning of almost any document type, even mixed stacks of different paper sizes and weights. The HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 5000 s4 can scan up to 50 pages/100 images per minute, recommended for 6000 pages per day; HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 7000 s3 up to 75 pages/150 images per minute recommended for 7500 pages per day.
  • The HP ScanJet Pro 3000 s3, targeted at small and medium businesses in need of a reliable scanner with workflow capabilities, can scan up to 35 pages/70 images per minute2 and to mobile devices. The scanner is HP’s most affordable scanner that is Wi-Fi enabled and includes USB 3 capability. It also leverages HP EveryPage technology suite.
  • For cost-conscious SMBs, HP has introduced the HP ScanJet Pro 2000 s1, an entry-level scanner with a budget-friendly price of $329. It can quickly and reliably digitize larger projects with scan speeds of up to 24 pages/48 images per minute, offers one-pass duplex scanning, and is recommended for customers scanning up to 2000 pages per day.
